Useful information ahead of your lesson with me
This blog is for existing swimmers who are booked in to swim with me as part of my 121 programme at Stratford Leisure Centre.
When you arrive, let the staff on Reception know that you are here for a 121 with me and they will make your booking, take payment and let you through the turnstiles to the changing area. By making a booking you agree to my terms and conditions and the terms and policies outlined by Everyone Active when you book directly with them. Please familiarise yourself with these as they explain what happens if you cannot make your lesson and so on.
Parking directly outside Stratford Leisure Centre is a small car park specifically for leisure centre permit holders. Across the zebra crossing is the larger Riverside Car Park (CV37 6YY) – this is pay and display and is the easiest place to park for your lessons.
Stratford Leisure Centre has two pools and I will determine which is the best pool for our lesson once I have assessed a swimmer’s ability. Lessons 4pm to 6pm will have the option of both pools, and lessons 6pm to 7pm can take place in the smaller pool only.
Please bring a pair of goggles and a swim hat. I can provide recommendations if you need them. Don’t bring padded or inflatable vests, armbands or any other kind of buoyancy aid.
Lessons are 30 minutes and parents must remain poolside and in view for the duration of their child’s lesson. Photography and recording are prohibited.
Please let me know if your child has any medical conditions, special needs, disabilities, injuries, recent surgeries, allergies or other health issues ahead of time.
If you have any more questions just let me know!
